The WR250X…one look tells you this is a machine ready to deliver some serious fun. The WR250X is a jewel of Yamaha engineering.

WR250X - 2010 model

Single cylinder ~ 4 Stroke ~ 250cc ~ 136kg.

An outstanding no-compromise Supermotard, the WR250X is based on Yamaha’s champion WR-F and YZ-F off-road race bikes, and is built to deliver utter exhilaration – whether on city streets or twisty back roads. Revving hard all the way to 10,000 rpm, it’s powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, single-cylinder engine. With electronic fuel injection and a 6-speed gearbox.

The WR250X runs hard and fast, while the 298 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc scrub off speed at your command. Compact, lightweight and brilliantly agile, it features 17 inch wheels with sticky sports tyres, aluminium frame, upside-down front forks and a link-type Monocross rear suspension system.

XT660X - 2010 model

Single cylinder ~ 4 Stroke ~ 660cc ~ 189kg.

It’s a jungle out there in the big city – a tough environment that requires a tough motorcycle. This street version of the legendary XT breed - famed for their Paris-Dakar desert rally performances – lets you tackle the urban scramble like no other bike.

Packed with Supermotard technology, the XT-660X is alive with punchy single-cylinder horsepower. Delivering a new kind of street performance, this bike boasts a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine and a taut chassis spec that’s got all the traction and turning you’re ever going to need.

We would greatly appreciate your opinion on what bike you own on the Forum, the pros, cons and any suggestions of what bike you would purchase next.
